Exciting Pride Picnic at Hirst Park on Saturday, 7th September

Ashington Town Council is excited to announce the return of the Pride Picnic, set to take place at Hirst Park on Saturday, September 7th, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Following the success of last year’s event, the Town Council is teaming up with Pride Action North and Northumberland Communities Together to host a day filled with family-friendly fun and celebration.

This year’s Pride Picnic is set to be a lively event with a wide variety of activities and entertainment designed to appeal to all ages. From crafts and games to live performances, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

In keeping with the spirit of inclusivity, all activities at the Pride Picnic will be free of charge, including candy floss and cupcakes. This makes the event accessible to all and ensures a fun day out for everyone. Ashington Town Council and its partners are hopeful for good weather to add to the festive atmosphere of this fantastic community gathering.

"We’re thrilled to be hosting the Pride Picnic again this year," said a spokesperson for Ashington Town Council. "It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate pride, inclusivity, and community spirit in Ashington."

Don't miss out on this vibrant event—mark your calendars and join us at Hirst Park for a day of joy and celebration!
