Northumberland County Council is asking residents what they want their county to look like in the decades ahead. Ashington Town Council is encouraging local people to get involved.
Ashington Town Council has responsibility for all matters relating to the provision of public seating in the town.
The Town Council's Neighbourhood Services Officer regularly inspects our public seats and carries out repairs and maintenance.
The Town Council has a programme of replacing ageing public seating which is beyond repair as well as providing new seats at new locations.
Requests for new or replacement seats being met in order of priority.
Please note public seating at the Town's strategic parks is provided by Northumberland County Council.
