Ashington Town Council is taking part in The Great Big Green Week on Tuesday 11th June 2024 we will be back at Ashington Tuesday Market with lots of information, fun and games to help tackle climate change.
Ashington Town Council will be there to find out your thoughts on Climate Change, to talk to you about the Council’s Climate Change actions, via our Climate Change Committee, and with some energy saving hints and tips and back for a third year our popular free raffle.
Joining us on the day will be;

Our stall aims to help clarify what does and what doesn’t go in the household recycling bin and places where items can be taken if not. We have resources for residents that further illustrates how to correctly dispose of rubbish and recycling.

Will be offering free plants and seeds, encouraging us to all ‘grow our own’
