Leadership Continuity in Finance and General Services Committee
Ashington Town Council is pleased to announce the re-election of key leadership positions within the Finance and General Services Committee, as decided at the committee meeting held on 25th June 2024.
Councillor Lynne Grimshaw has been re-elected as Chair of the Finance and General Services Committee. Councillor Grimshaw will continue to lead this vital committee, overseeing the council's financial management and general administrative functions.
Additionally, Councillor Matthew Cuthbert has been re-elected as Vice Chair of the committee. Councillor Cuthbert will support Councillor Grimshaw in her role and assist in guiding the committee's important work.
The re-election of both Councillors Grimshaw and Cuthbert to their respective positions ensures continuity in leadership and demonstrates the committee members' confidence in their abilities to steer the council's financial and administrative affairs.
