Bus Shelter Improvements
Ashington Town Council will carry out improvements to bus shelters across the town during June.
Four new bus shelters will be installed on the A1068 and at High Market with damaged windows replaced at the bus interchange following vandalism.
Two bus shelters have been repainted by our Neighbourhood Services Officer, Mark Air, at Woodhorn Villas and at the entrance to Northumberland Church of England Academy and a further two will be repainted next to the Northern Club and Highfield Drive. A deep clean of other shelters in the town will also take place this month.
We are sure residents will appreciate these improvements and request for patience while this work takes place.
