Contract Opportunity - CCTV Station Road (including Woodhorn Road and Station Rd West)
Contract Opportunity to provide CCTV for Station Road, Ashington is now open.
Ashington Town Council aims to ensure CCTV systems remain fit for purpose and operational for the benefit of all stakeholders. The previous contract for CCTV on Station Road was agreed in 2017, the Council appreciate that technology has changed significantly. By expanding and upgrading our CCTV system, we aim to build a CCTV service that can be used in the prevention and detection of crime, to reduce the fear of crime, and to improve public safety.
Ashington Town Council require a supplier to provide upgraded CCTV cameras and transmission equipment, to supply and install new equipment, and to provide monitoring.
The successful contractor will be expected to work with Council officers, Northumbria Police, Northumberland County Council, and stakeholders, and to advise Ashington Town Council on the most appropriate equipment and most suitable camera locations.
This is a 5-year contract for which the successful contractor will be required to invoice the Council monthly.
