Young People Tidy Town
Ashington’s Rainbow, Brownies, Guides and Leaders have done their bit to tidy the town.
The Ashington Division completed their litter pick challenge on Saturday 10th June at Paddocks Woods in North Seaton.
The young people and their leaders collected 40 bags of rubbish and we are sure all residents thank them for their efforts.
Litter is not only aesthetically unpleasing it is also a danger to wildlife and the environment and the Town Council encourages all residents to dispose of their rubbish responsibly.
