Cllr Victor Bridges, Civic Head of Ashington was delighted to visit Ashington Veterans and Elders Institute to present a cheque for £500.

The Civic Head was delighted to attend Jayness Newbiggin Brass Bands rehearsal last Thursday night to present a cheque for £500.

The Annual Meeting of the Council was held last night, and the Council elected members to specific roles.

As part of Ashington’s Christmas activities businesses on Station Road were invited to enter the first ever Christmas Window Display Competition.
