A Woodland Wildflower Walk will take place on Thursday 27 July in Ashington Community Woodland.

The previous walks have proved very popular and this will be an easy walk of about 1.5miles mostly on flat well made paths.

The walk commences at 7.00pm at the entrance to the Woodland - over the railway line next to Ashington Police Station.  Please wear trainers or boots and bring a waterproof!

All are very welcome, we'll go at a modest pace and look at flowers along the woodland paths.  The walk will be led by Lesley Silvera, Senior Project Officer for Groundwork NE & Cumbria.
