The first edition of the Ashington Town Council E-Newsletter is now available to download below.
Given the Covid-19 pandemic Ashington Town Council, like many other parish and town councils, is developing new ways of using social media to keep residents up to date with news, issues and developments in their area.
The aim of the E-Newsletter is to keep residents up to date with all things Ashington as we have tried our best to safely maintain a level of service and carry forward improvement projects for the town over the past few months.
Paper editions of the newsletter will also be available at public buildings in the town, when Covid-19 restrictions, are eased. If you would like to be included on a distribution list for future editions please contact the Town Council.
We do hope residents like the new way the Town Council is trying to keep in touch and keep them informed of developments in the town. The Covid-19 pandemic has provided new ways of communicating and we believe the new format is the most cost effective and efficient method of keeping in touch at the present time. The E-Newsletter supports the recently developed Town Council Facebook page and we also regularly use the Ashington Crier Twitter account.
The Town Council welcomes feedback from residents on the E-Newsletter which we plan to produce quarterly.
