Casual Vacancy - College Ward
The Town Council previously announced the very sad passing away of Councillor Vicki Brown. This has created a vacancy for a Councillor in College Ward, and following Vicki's funeral yesterday the vacancy is now officially declared.
CASUAL VACANCY - COLLEGE WARD 150324
In accordance with the Local Government Act 1972, the Council has advertised the vacancy and notified Northumberland County Council Election Office, and 14 days is allowed for 10 electors from College Ward to request an election to fill the vacancy. If no request is received by Monday 8th April 2024, the vacancy will be filled by co-option within a reasonable period.
