A new piece of play equipment has recently been installed at the Paddock Wood Play Area in North Seaton.

Parents had requested the Seaton Ward Councillors to provide some additional facilities, targeted at toddlers, at the popular play area. Additionally, a number of new litter bins have also been installed in the wider Paddock Wood area.

In the photograph is Seaton Ward Councillors Avril Chisholm and Jim Lang with the Town Council’s Neighbourhood Services Officer Garry Maddison with the new piece of equipment – 'The Truck'.

Sadly, Paddock Wood has suffered from some anti-social behaviour, vandalism and arson in recent months. The Town Council is working with Northumbria Police and the Fire Service to tackle these issues and encourages residents who witness any incident to call the Police (emergency response call 999 or non-emergency call 101) or alternatively visit https://beta.northumbria.police.uk/our-services/…
