An Evening with Joey Landreth (the "Forgiveness" Tour) will take place in Ashington on Wednesday 12 September 2018, at the Whitehouse Unique Social Club.

In 2016 Joey launched his solo career and January 2017 saw the release of his EP/Album "Whiskey" to critical acclaim. With the rare ability to be at once vulnerable and open yet seriously blow audiences away with his musical proficiency, Joey’s career as an independent artist is expected to rise to great heights quickly....and so it should!!

When Joey is on the road, he is doing what he does best, entertaining audiences with his soulful musical storytelling and infectiously emotive melodies. As engaging a performer as you will ever encounter, it initially took a little while for him to overcome the trepidations of touring solo or with new band mates.

The "Whiskey" tour took Joey across Canada, USA, and Europe. Joey has said that there will be a new The Bros. Landreth album coming out later in 2019. In the meantime, fans of Joey Landreth will not have to wait long to bear witness to his stirring solo shows as he embarks again on a full touring schedule, and he finishes off the final touches on his yet to be titled new album. Check out the new single "Forgiveness", it's a cracker!

It promises to be a wonderful opportunity in Ashington to hear the next stage in the evolution of a truly great artist, one who possesses the rare ability to connect to people through his melodies, through his lyrics, and through his riveting performances.

Joey's solo show in Ashington in July 2017, was one of the great musical nights for sure and you can expect more of the same this time around when Joey will be playing with a trio format....should be just outstanding...You can read all about Joey at his website:
